Pack-Ur-Bags completes two years of travel today, and these two years have taken me to outstanding journeys, introduced me to remarkable places and given me some close to the heart memories. These two years of travel blogging has been a lot of learning, experimenting and experiencing things that have brought out the essence of a different traveler altogether. Here are highlights of the mile-stones that 2015 has shown me as I moved from one place to another in my voyage.
The Road taken…
This year was an improvement over the year before. I was more focused, absorbing more about the places, people, cultures, road-maps and destinations. For a traveler, not all journeys turn out cozy. Some were good, some were bad and some were mix of both. Yet, every journey a person takes makes him better than before.
Every journey makes a man better than he was before..for every journey has a different path, different milestone, different risks, and different outcomes. In the end, as a man lives out of it, he has overcome the most vital obstacle of his path- his fear! And that gives him the strength to embark on more journeys ahead, again and again……
This is what the Travel year 2015 briefly looks like:-
22840 Kms. of Road Trip
86400 Kms. of Rail Journey
79 hrs. of Flight Journey
4228 memories captured
12 cities traveled
57 new places visited
The Entry Into New Year
As the blog enters into its glorious third year, there are more milestones on the calendar, new journeys to be taken, new cultures to explore, new people to meet and new experiences to create. I sincerely thank all my friends, fellow bloggers and readers to stay with me through my stories.
I also feel proud to be a part of the global community Travel Blog Success which I joined in August 2015. It has changed the way I had been blogging for the past one year and allowed me to connect with a global community of travel bloggers and get inspired to break free and set ahead for the voyage that I had been keeping on the back-seat for so long.
As I take more journeys, I have more stories to find, of all those travelers who dared to step aside from their mundane lives and decided to create a path of their own. It needs courage, and only a traveler has that courage of conviction, to walk the roads that await to be traveled and reach the places where no one has ever gone.
