Celebrating 3 Years of Journey

Three

TrawellblogThree years ago, the Trawell-blogger was born and the journey began. Three years ago, it all started over a coffee table discussion and the wanderlust still keeps me on the toes.  This year took me to some exotic destinations I had always wanted to be. And I also met some really awesome people on my way, who share the pages of my life with me, as I continue my journey ahead.

windmills

From the windmills and coffee farms of Chikhaldara to the scenic Pandavleni hills of Nasik, this year was about exploring some unique places that did not exist on the travel map yet. Back in my home town, it was also time to celebrate the cultural festivals of the city and I could realise how sometimes we miss things on our own shores.

As if it was not over in Delhi yet, a wanderlust feet dragged itself back to the capital city to explore the unseen lanes of the Delhi’s heritageAnd I didn’t even know when I took a slight detour down the memory lane to the hills of Uttarakhand, to cool off the summer heat. When the banks of Hoogly river called, there was no looking back and I found myself in the heart of Kolkata city, immersing in the cultural extravagance.

This year was also about alliances and projects as also about Publishing my first travel e-bookThe Trawell-blogger’s stories joined hands and got published with some accomplished blogs such as Drink-Tea-Travel, Ceat Tyres in Association with BlogAdda, Mojhi in Association with Blogmint and Bohotraveller,  It also witnessed a proud moment of being featured with Hello Travel as one of the ‘Travel Blogs by Indians you must read’

explore bali

And then came the much awaited journey to Bali, Indonesia in the middle of the year that gave me some remarkable experiences that will last forever. From exotic beaches to iconic temples and extravagant luxury to mouth watering culinary trails, it also gave the opportunity to test myself organising group tours and get along with people of varied travel tastes and style.

And finally, the year culminates with getting interviewed for a Podcast on 26.12.2016, with Musafir Stories,a travel blogger couple on their quest  to explore the world through their inspirational stories.

In the year 2017, I intend to travel to more destinations I haven’t done before. I hope the New year gets more and more adventurous and exciting with new journeys to undertake and new surprises to unfold.
